Now that I'm posting this, I see that her hair doesn't look a lot different than it usually does, but in the middle of the night last night (Susanna still wakes up once to eat) it seemed awfully crazy. This picture was taken this morning when she woke up for the day, but I'm not certain it's much different than it was when I found it so comical last night. I guess we nursing mothers have to find joy where we can at 2:00 am.
A family-- a cycling scientist, a crazy little girl, a happy toddler, and me-- navigating the exciting, sometimes difficult, but most of all wonderful adventure that is life.
