Bath Time

Okay, so obviously this is really after the bath. Which is too bad because bathtime is very fun; Susanna especially loves her many little rubber ducks her aunt Marie Bennion gave her. Someday I'll remember to get the camera before bathtime, and maybe you'll get to see the squeal she lets out when she hears the ducks coming.

p.s. Sorry about the double bath entry. I put this one in first, planning to put a photo of the birthday party for yesterday's post. Ah well. She's cute enough that I'm sure nobody minds.

Six Months Old!

February 21, 2007

We had a small celebration complete with a candle-topped mess of rice porridge to commemorate this momentous day in Susanna's life. Of course we took pictures, but they came out all black (we were wondering why the flash didn't go off). These photos taken after the evening bath will have to do.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Independent Sitter!

Susanna loves her newfound freedom and uses it to play with toys, books, and whatever else is within arm's reach (such as her mother's hair). It's really fun to see the new step she has taken and it sure makes her seem grown up.

Rice Cereal

We started feeding Susanna rice cereal on Monday (today is the following Friday). So far she has eaten about four bites. Since she loves rice cereal so much, we decided to add water today. I'm not sure if she got any, but she enjoyed learning about the mechanics of the cup.

Seattle Parks

Seattle has great parks. Here's a photograph of one just a handful of blocks from our apartment (another reason to love our location).

Green Lake

We really like our neighborhood. There is a lake right by our apartment (about a block and a half away) with a multi-use trail and a park around it. Susanna and I (Amy) go there almost daily. This year there was one good snow day in Seattle and the two of us went on a walk around the lake that day (Scott was in the lab, but he ran around the lake that morning). It was beautiful: the lake was had white, opaque, and clear patches swirling around in variagate ying yangs. Unfortunately, I didn't take a camera so these photos of after we got back will have to suffice.

Peace

Look at this onesie Susanna got from her aunts Sarah and Mirianda!

Temple Square Lights

Susanna loved the lights.
