Susanna's first bike ride

Well, this wasn't really her first bike ride. We took her a couple of month ago or so but we only made it a couple of blocks. She was nervous about the whole thing, which of course made us nervous so we bagged the whole thing. This time was much better: we rode about twenty minutes to a Matthews Beach, a local park.

The Kisebachs

Scott's cousin and her family, the Kisebachs, are doing a tour of the Pacific Northwest. They stopped by Seattle to spend half a day with us on July 30. It was wonderful to get to know them a little better; they are great people and their kids are a lot of fun. As you can see from this photograph below (at the Waterfront Park downtown) Susanna loved having other kids around.
